Sterilization Protocols at Our Webster Groves Dentist Office
Dental practitioners are trained to ensure the highest standard in infectious disease control. Webster Groves Dental has always implemented the necessary protocols to keep all patients and staff safe from any infectious disease. We want all our patients to continue to feel safe when they come into our office for treatment. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have added the following additional procedures to prevent the spread of infectious disease and ensure the safety of all our patients and staff:
You will be asked to reschedule your appointment if you are unwell or have been in contact with a known COVID-19 exposure. We deem the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment if we deem it is not safe for you to be treated. If possible, we also request that only individuals who are being seen come into our 63119 dentist office. Before we begin your treatment, you will be asked to rinse with a solution (Listerine with hydrogen peroxide) that will help eliminate bacteria and viruses in your mouth.
We have purchased new equipment to help reduce aerosols and routinely disinfect commonly touched surfaces (door knobs, pens, counters, etc). As always, all equipment is disinfected / sterilized after each patient is seen. Outside of treatment, we will keep social distancing as much as possible in a dental office. Additionally, we are screening staff members everyday.
Please be aware we are doing everything we can to minimize the risk of COVID-19; however, as is the case with any public setting there is a risk of COVID-19 exposure. If you have any questions regarding your dental health or our infectious disease policy, please contact our office.
